| DETAILS: | Discover the rich and exciting world of red wine in this fun, beginner-friendly 90-minute course. You’ll explore four distinct reds – two from Europe and two from the New World – designed to highlight the key differences in style, flavor, and winemaking traditions. We might taste the elegance of a classic French Burgundy and the bold character of an Italian Chianti, then contrast them with the vibrant fruitiness of a Chilean Cabernet and the smooth, spicy notes of an Argentinian Malbec. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of tasting, pairing, and selecting red wines, all in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. You will also be tasting some different foods with your wines to understand more about the cause and effect certain foods can have on wine. You will receive some wine/food pairing tips as well as a copy of “Erin’s Picks” that suggest wines at different price points. Perfect for anyone looking to build confidence and enjoy wine with ease. Erin is an accredited wine professional and past wine executive with a tremendous passion for wine. You will enjoy Erin’s friendly and approachable style and there will be opportunities for questions along the way. This event will be approximately 1.5 to 2 hours in duration |
