Ruth (Ruthy) Gudaitis

Ruth (Ruthy) Gudaitis has been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) on January 30, 2019. CJD is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease. Currently, no cure or treatments to slow the disease exist. We are all at a loss for words. Much too soon and too fast.

Ruth has loved and cherished us all and has tirelessly devoted herself to her family and her community.
To honour Ruth’s work with children and the arts, a music education scholarship fund in her name – the Ruth Lee Gudaitis Music Scholarship – has been setup within the South Georgian Bay Music Foundation.
