On the AGM
On June 18 at 10:00 am we will be having our 2019-2020 Annual General Meeting using the Zoom platform. We will have our management team present and will make the link available to all members to view. We will also be recording the meeting and will make the link to that recording available to members.
This meeting will present the final financial report and will formalize the election of new management team members.
My Final Words
The 2019 – 2020 year for our club has been a time of sharing experiences as we grow longstanding friendships and make new friends. Probus gives us a way to gather and for people new to Collingwood to learn about our town and the many things that make us all so sure that moving here was a good idea.
We’ve golfed and partied. We went hiking, skiing and snowshoeing. We’ve gone to musical offerings and shared meals and canapes and as always in everything we do, we’ve shared great conversations with friends that enrich our lives.
This is Probus Mountainview.
When those of us who were travelling received the directive from our Prime Minister telling us to return from wherever we were in March, we responded. And when those returning had to go into quarantine, the same friends helped to get food and supplies in the midst of quarantine.
And here we are at the end of this year and nobody knows what the next months will bring. The one thing we will have as a constant is each other.
So keep up the connection in whatever way you can, and we will get together soon.
