The ladies book club met to discuss “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins November 18’th. There was a lot of lively discussion about the dangers Mexican migrants face when they attempt to flee their country where drug cartels endanger so many people. As we usually do, we broadened our scope of discussion. So much to try and cover in just two hours, but always engaging and enlightening gatherings.
