Kayaking in the high Arctic
John was born and raised in Collingwood.
He’s always had a love of the outdoors and was introduced to the Canadian Arctic in 2002.
For the past 15 years John has been hiking and kayaking throughout the Canadian High Arctic. John will be sharing his experiences and observations from these adventures.
John’s presentation will include the people living in the Arctic both past and present, the vast and changing landscape and the abundant wildlife in this amazing but little known part of Canada.
